Join us as we discuss the phenomenon of the total solar eclipse with Terry Kemper, a retired television executive living is East Hampton who recently completed his 16th expedition to observe a total solar eclipse.
Since the dawn of our species, Sapiens have been both fascinated and terrified by the phenomenon of the total solar eclipse. These events, which occur   somewhere in the world roughly every year, have been the root of myth, omen or legend in almost every ancient civilization.  It was not until the middle of the 18th Century that science replaced fiction.
Chasing Solar Eclipses will explain why and how often they occur, how they are observed and recorded, and how a band of dedicated eclipse chasers follow them around the world.
