Author Talk – Got What It Takes? with Bill Boggs

Join the East Hampton Library as we sit down with author Bill Boggs, as he discusses his book “Got What It Takes? Successful People Reveal How They Made It to the Top.” Four-time Emmy winner Boggs hosted the New York Talk Show Midday Live with Bill Boggs for Metromedia and FOX. He created and hosted Bill Boggs’ Corner  Table on the Food Network, and the syndicated series “Comedy Tonight.” He has hosted shows on  CBS-TV, NBC-TV, ABC-TV, SHOWTIME, PBS and The Travel Channel.. Bill has interviewed an impressive array of “winners” during his long year career, including presidents, international leaders, athletes, writers, movie stars and moguls. In writing his book, he set out to define the factors that determine success. He spoke to 44 individuals and got 44 versions of “what it takes” to reach the top. The talk is a primer on how anyone can approach their career, the professional challenges they face, the adversity in their path and prevail. Incidentally, Boggs will be performing his acclaimed comedic play, “Talk Show Confidential: Confessions of a Talk Show Host” on August 25th, 8 pm, Guild Hall.
